A life of controversy


"The Banquet - A Pasolini project" dedicated to the work of artist Pier Paolo Pasolini. Italian was murdered in 1975, active in many areas: poetry, literature, theater and film in particular. But he always dealt with issues of controversy. His own life was dominated by them. Ruled out as a communist because of his homosexuality from the party, as an avowed Catholic, for alleged hypocrisy of the church with these enemies. Early on, he dealt with problems of society, with issues being addressed by this need to evolve. His works for the consumer society is now almost read like prophecies.
The PATHOS team employed in preparation for "The Banquet" in cooperation with the Polish Teatr Cinema of Pasolini's cinematic heritage, particularly with two selected films. In "Comizi d'amore" themed Pasolini, the relationship of sexuality to the Italians. "Teorema" is an experimental arrangement for the collapse of a bourgeois family. Directed by Ramin Anaraki differences are pointed out, what separates us all to think about at all to find what unites us eventually.
Ramin Anakari has been busy in 2008 with the complete works for an investment in an incredible artist, Rainer Werner Fassbinder. "The Banquet" continues this work.
