The German Theatre Munich presents Avenue Q

The German Theatre Munich presents Avenue QDAS German Theatre in Munich presented on 10 06/24/2012 to dolls that certainly does not belong in the nursery. Because the cute hand puppet of the musical Avenue Q are cheeky and politically not always correct, sometimes quite obscene and above all very human. They move into the adult or adult world, their songs are about homosexuality, sexually-suggestive dreams, racism and homelessness. So they sing, and sometimes quite obscene in their lives: they are disoriented, racist, unhappy in love, selfish, disillusioned and looking for the great good fortune.
And that's what Avenue Q on Broadway has brought three Tony Awards and the critics were enthusiastic. "The biggest stage of fun this year!" And the New York Times noted:: How the New Yorker cheered "bittersweet satire and surprisingly fresh!" Even in London's West End Avenue Q was a great success: "A hip, trendy dolls musical the other kind - for adults only, "wrote the local press to the public from the soul.
It tells the story of Princeton College, funniest, who moves to Avenue Q to see the world outside of their studies. Instead of the ideal future dream to Princeton and his roommate variety is the true life experience sometimes cruel. The real adult life has replaced the illusion world rich kids on Sesame Street. Thus, the greedy Cookie Monster in Avenue Q to porn-addicted Trekkie Monster, the biscuit has fallen instead of porn and letters rather than the ideas of his neighbor Kate nibble from a purely scientific use of the Internet destroyed.
The winning three Tony Awards musical "Avenue Q" is the third collaboration with the Bavarian Theater Academy in Munich, the Deutsches Theater. Devoted to "Rent", "Spring Awakening" and the graduates of the musical year of 2012 is now the challenge to awaken felt cloth dolls to live and to exist alongside them as puppeteers or her as an independent figure. All the puppets for Avenue Q is currently made by the Munich artist and Figurenbildner Birger modeled after the originals in hand.
